Attend an event to find out more
Connect with employers at a free Institute event to learn more about what life as a Chartered Accountant is really like; including the challenges, benefits and rewards.
Meet the Business Leader is an interactive event for high school students to meet and network with Chartered Accountants working across a variety of jobs and industries. You can learn more about the career, before you have to apply for a university degree.
Vacation Employment Events can’t be missed by second and penultimate year university students. This event gives you the opportunity to network with employers offering paid work experience over the summer break. Many organisations invite Vacationers back to Graduate positions, so this gives you a great head start.
Employment Evening is the best way for final year university students to get a head start on their career. This event is the place for you to meet and connect with the best employers. They will also have the opportunity to hear from a current graduate about their experiences, receive recruitment tips from HR representatives, and learn more about the Chartered Accountants qualification.
At all Institute events, students will receive a copy of the Chartered Accountants National Employment Guide, which lists all organisations recruiting students, from high school through to university graduates.

Take on the Chartered Accountants Student Challenge to apply what you’ve learnt at university to a real-life business problem and help make a difference.
This year, we would like you to examine a real-life business challenge facing the Australian Conservation Foundation. Entries will be judged on how effectively students solve the Challenge on three main criteria - technical knowledge, innovation and presentation.
In 2011, there are two Challenges - one designed for first year undergraduate students, and the other for second, third and fourth year students. Each Challenge has its unique rewards.
This year, state winners will be invited to present their Challenge solution to a panel of highly sought-after employers at a high profile event. Each state winner will receive presentation skills training, be fitted out in a power suit, return flights and accommodation to the event location and much more.
The national winners will receive all this plus the recognition of becoming the 2011 Chartered Accountants Student Challenge winner, travel vouchers and other surprises, to put you ahead and give you a real-life edge.
