Built environment

What’s on offer for postgraduates?

Built environment is a small but diverse field. It ranges from the multidisciplinary programs (e.g. planning) to more narrow, industry-defined areas such as construction management.

Prerequisites vary accordingly, but many of these postgraduate programs are open to those who work outside the built environment field who want to enter it, as well as those in it who want to branch out. A small proportion are postgraduate research programs.

Those entering built environment should be aware that ties to the volatile building and construction industry make it more vulnerable to the economic cycle.
